VersaSpa Spray Tan Pre and Post Instructions
Preparation is key to achieving the best results and making your tan last longer.
Here are some essential tips to help you get ready for your spray tan session, to help maximise your results and increase the longevity of your tan!
EXFOLIATE AND MOISTURISE at least 24 hours before your tan. Use a gentle exfoliating scrub and follow up with a light, oil-free moisturiser to keep your skin hydrated.
SHAVING AND WAXING at least 24 hours before your spray tan appointment. This allows any potential irritation to subside, ensuring your skin is smooth and ready for the tanning solution. Shaving or waxing too close to your appointment can result in open pores, which might lead to a spotty tan.
WEAR loose, dark clothing for your spray tan session.
DRINK plenty of water leading up to your appointment to ensure your skin is hydrated from within.
AVOID using any skincare products, soaps, deodorants, make-up or lotions on your skin on the day of your tan. These products can create a barrier that prevents the spray tan from adhering properly.
A member of the team will explain the process fully before leaving you in the room alone to activate the Versaspa tanning machine. We provide you with a disposable hair net, knickers/thong, sticky feet plus barrier cream.
To extend the longevity of your spray tan and keep your glow intact, follow these few steps:
SHOWERING after your tan session, please wait a minimum of 4–6 hours before showering or exercising to allow the tan to fully develop.
KEEPING YOUR TAN, make sure you keep your skin hydrated. Use a nourishing moisturiser daily to maintain your tan and prevent it from fading unevenly.
